Singerheimen

Welcome to Singerheimen – a historic guesthouse and restaurant. The house was built in 1921 by the American artist couple William H. Singer Jr. and Anna Brugh Singer. Today it is a protected cultural monument and is run according to the principle of “conservation through use” by a local family.

At Singerheimen you can enjoy a classic Afternoon Tea served on original, hand-painted tableware. We also offer historical tours where you can hear the story of the artist couple, the house and the life that was lived here. During the summer season we also offer accommodation and homemade breakfast in authentic rooms. Opening hours are from June to August.
